Since childhood, I have subconsciously identified my connection to Art as an escape I am trained in Hindustani classical music since the age of three, and used to take training for about ten years in Kathak. Drawing, painting and calligraphy developed in parallel alongside my studies in school.

I got a chance to work on my first original project in 11th grade, where I was majorly inspired by Salvador Dali’s intense surrealism into making an introspective work of my own. Joining an art course in a big university like OP Jindal gave me time and perspective to work on creativity as well as sharpen my technique. I learnt a bit of Japanese Calligraphy on my semester exchange program to Japan. Not only did I hone my artistic skill but explored the deeper implications of mind-body connections in the almost meditative state that any kind of art practise puts one in.
